Best of the Best of the Best Vol. III
You better hope you don’t have to guard this cat.
I didn’t really get to check out much of Portland’s game last night, but when they showed this highlight during the Lakers game it gave me something to be happy about. As you’ve already seen, B. Roy has held down one of the featured picture spots since the jump of MTGTM, and I’ll be showing my second favorite player love here whenever possible. I mean, before this ridiculous dunk on David Lee, he dropped a nice back-to-the-basket-between-the-legs-pass that wasn’t finished, so he grabbed the offensive board and took off on Lee like he stole something. I loved every second of this clip.
Today’s move of the day has been playing over and over in my head for two days now. I just want to know why Deron Williams had to do Toney Douglass soooooooooooooo dirty. That crossover and pull up jumper was the ultimate “welcome to the league, rook” moment of this NBA season. When you reach, (you reach, I teach!), get crossed over, get turned around and the dude you were supposedly guarding pulls up and drains a three pointer with your back to him, you’re going to be on the negative end of “The Best of the Best of the Best”, son. For all of you kids out there, watch the hips and pray that you don’t end up guarding Deron Williams… oh, and do I even have to mention that a Knick got the negative end on both parts of this post? Didn’t think so.
Yessir, another victim thanks to The Best Point Guard in the NBA. I dig it.
