Top 10 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Give A Shit Where LeBron James Ends Up Next Season:

10. ) Stuart Scott sums it ALL up.

9.) David Kalb and Jordan Crawford. Google them if you don’t remember. And it’s not so much WHAT happened but rather what happened AFTER. Fragile egos and overconfidence have no place among the NBA’s Greatest. Overhype and Media Dick Riding are to blame for the false prophet in “Prince James”.

8.)

7.) We have “All Been Witnesses” for far too long.

6.) The Crab Dribble isn’t legal yet.

5.) “He’s overrated. And you can say I said that.” – DeShawn Stevenson………………….DeSHAWN Stevenson!

4.)

3.) You can’t be a “King” without a crown. Plain and simple.

2.) Pfffffffft!!! You kidding me?

1.) It’s really about where D. Wade, Chris Bosh, Joe Johnson Carlos Boozer and Amare Stoudemire go in 2010. James has proven time and time again that he isn’t capable of strapping a team to his back and winning a championship. Maybe he can saddle up with one of these guys and play sidekick.

To all you Cleveland/LeBron James fans out there, these are just the “c’mon now!” reasons.

Feel free to hit me up if you want the real breakdown as to why your “King” has failed you.

I’ve watched the hatred rain down on The King all day, and now, I must step in.

For the record, I could give a shit about the Cavaliers. I am merely a witness of the current and soon-to-be epic ascent of LeBron Whateverhismiddlenameis James.

PLEEEEEASE explain to me how LeBron is better suited to be Robin and not Batman. I can’t wait to see this one. He’s definitely built for a Batman role, just from what we’ve seen him do in his career so far. Just for the sake of going back and forth, I won’t get too in-depth on his team exploits so far.

First off, I appreciate you taking the time to get at me. I’ve got bags full of ammunition on this one, lemme decide as to where I should begin.

I’m going to simply lay out the most obvious and probably most difficult reason for you to counter. And that’s history.
History sites LeBron as a failure. What exactly has he ACCOMPLISHED, aside from the attention of the masses? You and I should not be concerned with his Nike contracts, commercials, shoes, jerseys, State Farm commercials, his crush on Jay-Z, less than masculine dance moves or fantastic dunks……all that really matters at the end of the day is HARDWARE and he has none. Ten fingers and ZERO rings. Rings baby, that’s where credibility is at. Ask Barkley, Ewing, Malone, Wilkins etc.

He needs a leader. Someone HE can feed off of. His game ain’t all that and you know it. His size and body dimension make him difficult to guard, that’s really the secret to it. Don’t pretend you haven’t thought about this already.

No problemo, my brother. You’re teaming up with Phil, and I know Phil makes sure he does work with folks who are prepared for battle. It’s all-to-the-good.

You’re right; The King has no rings, and you’re right about all the other stuff (jerseys, commercials, shoes, jerseys). Here’s my response to what he’s accomplished:

He’s made Cleveland Cavaliers basketball relevant again. Lets be for real; they haven’t been worth a damn since the late-80′s, and even when they were, it was because they were getting ousted by The Great One in Chicago and the Jordanaires. He took a team to the Finals in 2007 that had NO BUSINESS BEING THERE, but after the legendary Game Five performance, and also watching Detroit totally go gutless, they made the Finals, and we both know they had no chance in hell of beating the Spurs that year.

As for other years, they lost to Boston in ’08 (that one shouldn’t have gone seven, but Boston forgot how to win on the road), and last year to an Orlando team that gave them matchup problems everywhere. Plus, Mike Brown doesn’t run an offense. It aint The King’s fault that when Brown goes brain-dead, he just gives him the ball, and tells him to make a play. He’s gotten better every single year, and to the point where he has a respectable jumpshot (relies on it a tad too much, but who doesn’t??), and we know he makes people better. Even you shouldn’t dispute that one, sir.

Kenny, I agree with making CLEVELAND hoops relevant but what significance does that really have in the world of hoops? I agree with Mike Brown being a numbnuts on the sidelines but the phenomenon known as LeBron James needs no coach nor teammates. I think my ultimate point is to prove that James has been OVERhyped and isn’t what he seems. Talks of him not having a “ceiling” I think, are ridiculous. His “ceiling” is winning a RING. He’s not the messiah nor the next Jordan, $20 bucks says LeBron will retire with LESS than 2 rings, if that. He can’t carry a team on his back nor can an OFFENSE can be ran through him….it doen’t work. You say he makes his teammates better and I agree but if we played ball together and I got double/triple teamed every other play……you’d get PLENTY more good looks Kenny. Thus your stats would look really nice. He’s a phenomenal athlete, I acknowledge that but grossly hyped.

David, you know that I’m not exactly the biggest LeBron fan in the world either. But at this point in his career, Jordan had NO hardware either. I don’t necessarly shit on ‘Bron for his lack of rings, I just hate that he hasn’t completely taken advantage of his skill set yet (and the fact that he’s nick named King, COMPLETELY undeserving to this point). But like Kenny said, dude isn’t a second banana to anyone. Period. He IS either 1 or 1a in this league right now depending on who you ask.

      My man Phil.

lol, LeBron has an ego UNDESERVED. I would cringe if people called me THE KING if I had no crowns. And I CERTAINLY wouldn’t walk around with a LBJ MVP shirt on!!! C’mon now.

I got Kobe and Wade 1. and 1a.

      Chris Paul 2.

Bottom Line: You can’t run an offense through him. A CHAMPIONSHIP OFFENSE anyways.

Wait, hold on a second. I love Wade, but he also had a massive 7’1, 325 Wullymammoth in the post, that goes by the name of The Big Aristotle, when he did get his ‘chip. I don’t know how you can say an offense can’t be run through him when he has the basketball IQ of an elite point guard right now. The man sees everything on the court, makes the right basketball plays, and even when it isn’t the right shot, he tends to make the right play. That certainly isn’t as easy as it looks.

Chris Paul??? He aint even better than Deron Williams, but that’s another discussion for another day. Point is, when the day comes that the Cavs actually get a coach who has an offensive philosophy, it will be a wrap. Hell, the Cavs are this good now, and they have no semblance of an offensive set at all.

First off. There would be no situation EVER where u would need to be double teamed, Mr Gold. Second, I’d say James is overhyped more than overrated. Yeah MJ didn’t have any rings either at this point, but he wasn’t a 6’8 245 lb freak of nature. And if I remember it was in Jordan’s 6th year that he won his ring. “King” is in his 6th now. Basically its put up or shut up time for Lebron. He has the 7’1 monster that kobe and wade did it with albiet a bit past his prime, James skillset should more than make up for it. He needs to either win a ring now or leave and find his best opportunity to do so or he will in fact become overrated
